To our valued patients:
With the year coming to a close, many of you have insurance benefits or Flexible Spending Accounts that must be used by December 31, 2017, or it is lost forever! Our schedule has become very busy as of late and we don’t want you to be left not able to utilize your 2017 benefits. Therefore, we are encouraging everyone to schedule your remaining treatment or come in for your professional hygiene visit with Melanie before the end of the year. Remember…. if you have insurance, you are entitled to 2 visits per year, usually at 90-100%.
We do need to let you know Dr. Mathis will be out of the office from December 12, 2017 until January 15, 2018 while he is recuperating from neck surgery. Melanie, Chanda and Kathy will still be in the office regular office hours in addition to Dr. Janet Gonzalez. Dr. Gonzalez is a long time good friend and colleague of Dr. Mathis. Dr. Gonzalez actually had a general practice right here in Coppell for 18 years until she took time off to undergo chemotherapy. We are happy to report she is now healthy and is currently working 2 days a week at Texas A&M College of Dentistry (some of you may remember it as Baylor Dental College!). Dr. Mathis has absolute faith and confidence in Dr. Gonzalez and knows she will be able to meet your needs while he is out of the office recuperating. Please know that Dr. Mathis would not leave his valued dental family in the hands of anyone he was not completely sure could fill his shoes to the best of her ability.
As in years past, our office will be closed from December 22 – January 1, so don’t wait until the last minute to schedule your hygiene visit or treatment. If you want Dr. Mathis to complete any dentistry you have pending, please call at your very earliest convenience to schedule your appointment with him before he leaves for the year. Again, his last day in the office will be December 12th, returning on January 15, 2018.
As always, we want to treat you like family and take the absolute best care of all our patients and we look forward to seeing you, if not between now and the end of the year; then we look forward to seeing you in the new year!
Blessings on each and every one of you,
Dr. Roger Mathis and Team
Melanie, Chanda and Kathy
