During the course of the past thirty years, I have had the privilege and opportunity to provide you and your family with the highest quality dental care. This is an honor which my staff and I have not taken lightly. We earnestly thank you for the confidence and trust you have placed in us by allowing us to provide you and your loved ones with your dental care. Thus, it is with a heavy heart and many mixed emotions that I announce my retirement from my dental practice. I have come to this difficult decision over the past several months. As many of you know I was out during the month of October for neck surgery. While the neck surgery was successful, it has become increasingly apparent over the past 6-8 months that similar conditions exist in my middle and lower back that prevent me from continuing to practice dentistry.
Over the past 3 months I have earnestly sought to find a qualified dentist who shares my same practice philosophies in order to continue to deliver the same level of high quality, patient-centered, conservative dental treatment to which you have grown accustomed. I am pleased to announce that as a result of an extensive search, Dr. Sanam Wright will assume responsibility for my practice as of Monday, June 11, 2018. I hope you will warmly welcome Dr. Wright and entrust her with the same confidence you have shown in me over the past 30 years.
Born and raised in Coppell, Dr. Wright graduated from Coppell High School. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Dallas and received her dental degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center Houston Dental Branch. She lives in Coppell with her husband Alex and their three children. Immediately, upon meeting Dr. Wright, I was pleased to learn that she shares the same compassion for patient treatment as I do. She is also as easy-going as I am, has integrity, and possesses first-rate dental skills. It has not been an easy task to find someone whom I would value enough to entrust your care to. After many meetings and discussions about views on patient care, I truly believe I have found the right person to take my place, and I am confidant you will come to appreciate her passion for your dental care just as I have. I know Dr. Wright will do very well and she will be a great fit for the office.
Dr. Wright has deep roots in Coppell and it has always been her mission and dream to own a dental practice right here in Coppell where she can give back to the community she knows and loves. Dr. Wright has a true love of dentistry and is dedicated to providing you with the highest-quality dental care. You will continue to be greeted by the same smiling faces of Melanie, Chanda and Kathy that you have grown to know over the years. Dr. Gonzalez will continue working in the office on Wednesdays and the office will continue to take the same insurance plans it currently accepts. I will remain in the office to assist Dr. Wright on a limited basis over the next several weeks and during the transition of the practice into her capable hands. Obviously, she will have complete access to your records as well as the ability to consult with me whenever necessary.
Again, thank you for your past confidence and loyalty in me as your dentist. I know you will be most pleased with the care you will receive from Dr. Wright. She looks forward to meeting you and your family members very soon!
